Statement to Sterling

The LA Clippers wore their pregame warmup shirts inside-out before Sunday's playoff game in Golden State, but the strongest statement they could make to their racist owner, would be to make a run and win the NBA Championship . . . for themselves

Before Donald Sterling's most recent racist comments were released over the weekend, had you asked every Clippers player and coach if they were trying to win a championship for their owner, they would have told you, "No."

They're trying to win it for themselves and the fans. Nobody was out on the court this season thinking, "We're gonna win this one for Donald!"

I opened Monday's podcast with my reaction to Sterling's racism, why he should be suspended, why he'll eventually be forced to sell the team, and what the Clippers can do to rise above it all.

Also on Monday, I previewed the Boston Bruins' second-round playoff series with the rival Montreal Canadiens. And I closed out the show applauding Major League Baseball for its latest rule change.
