'We got this'
The Patriots will be without Rob Gronkowski for the rest of the season, and that has caused many in New England to give up on any hope for a championshipBut as I explained to begin the second hour of Tuesday's show on DigRadio (now available on iTunes), as long as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are still running the show, you shouldn't give up on the Pats.
Even without Gronkowski, and even with some major injuries on the defensive side of the football, these Patriots still have a good chance to earn a first-round bye AND win their home playoff game in the Divisional Round.
And then there's the AFC Championship in Denver. About that. Well, Belichick will have his defense ready, regardless of personnel.
Haven't we learned our lesson?
Listen to Tuesday's show, to hear my latest Patriots rant, and my strong guarantee: New England will be playing in this year's Super Bowl.
Also, Comcast SportsNet's Sean McAdam checked in with a Red Sox update from the MLB Winter Meetings in Florida.
