Fenway turns 100
Fenway Park turns 100 on Friday, and I could care
less. Some are making a big deal about invitations to the big
celebration, while I'm more concerned about building a new Fenway and
this weekend's series against the New York Yankees. Plus, my take on the
Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the Boston Bruins' Game 4 loss. Watch on Ustream:
Picard worked as a sports writer for Comcast SportsNet New England from 2009-2013, covering all of Boston's pro teams. He also hosted his own show on NBC Sports Radio Boston during that time. Prior to that, Picard worked as a sports writer for The Boston Globe and The Patriot Ledger. He was named to TALKERS Magazine's "Frontier Fifty: Outstanding Talk Media Webcasters" in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Picard was born and raised in South Boston, where he still resides. He is a Boston College High School graduate, and received his Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in 2007.
